If you are using a third-party provider or spam filtering system for the contact e-mail address(es) listed in your billing profile, filtering errors can cause legitimate messages such as replies, urgent billing notices and invoices to be accidentally classified in the "Spam" folder because these messages, for example, contain terms such as "credit card". Whitelisting will reduce the odds of such filtering errors causing miscommunications.
